사람들이 색(色)을 찾는 데 너무 정성을 쏟는다.
색(色)을 찾느니만큼 공(空)도 찾아야 한다.
미인을 찾는 것만큼 허공을 찾아야 한다.
허공에 대한 애착 이것이 미인에 대한 애착만큼 강할 때
비로소 사람은 공색일여(空色一如)라고 할 수 있다.
지건대축(止健大畜)할 수 있는 사람만이
공색일여 (空色一如)할 수 있는 사람이다.
Men are busy pursuing 'forms'.
We must seek 'Emptiness' as diligently as we are after 'forms'.
We must be after 'Emptiness' as we are after pretty people.
When we become as attached to 'Emptiness' as we are to pretty people,
then we can consider ourselves in the state of 'Emptiness and Form are One'.
Only the one who can 'Stop Building and Storing Big' can become the one
who truly dwells in the state of 'Emptiness and Form are One'.
[주] 지건대축(止健大畜):
마음속에 하느님의 생명인 얼나를 품고
이 세상을 부정하고 하느님 얼나라에 머문다는 뜻.
주역(周易)에서 따온 말임
[note] 'Stop Building and Storing Big' <== I Ching
This phrase from 'the Book of Changes' implies a state
where one abides in the Spirit World of God while negating
this mundane world. The phrase also suggests that only the one
who has the Soul Self awakened within can arrive at the stage.
